Business visit of the founders to Germany

On February 28, 2025, the founders of the Georgian Royal Dynastic “Mamuka Bagrationi Foundation,” Prince Mamuka Bagrationi and Princess Mary Ferrari, embarked on an official visit to Germany, traveling to the renowned city of Baden-Baden. Their visit was made possible through the support and invitation of the foundation’s representative in European countries and Knight of the Order, Mr. Rainer Ruge. Additionally, the Knight of the Order and the foundation’s representative in France, Ms. Barbara Elbakidze, arrived specially to join the delegation. Among the many distinguished guests attending from various European nations was the Knight of the Order and President of the “United National Karate Federation of Georgia,” Mr. Gocha Surmanidze, who was accompanied by his wife, Ms. Irma Tsenteradze.
The gathering in Baden-Baden was marked by a warm, hospitable atmosphere and provided a platform for productive discussions, where key business initiatives and future collaborative projects were established.
Afterward, the founders traveled to Munich to meet with the Knight of the Order and the foundation’s representative in Germany, Prince Nodar Bagrationi. During their visit, the princes presented certificates of appreciation to the family of esteemed doctors, Mr. Rainer and Mrs. Natalie Viorle, for their valuable contributions to the community. Moreover, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Karin Sorge, who graciously presented Princes Mamuka and Nodar Bagrationi’s families with a deeply personal autobiographical book, offering a glimpse into her fascinating life. Her powerful narrative not only chronicles her personal journey but also highlights her advocacy for freedom, human rights, and the enduring value of patriotism and humanity.
Certificates of appreciation were also presented to the Mayor of Planegg, Mr. Hermann Napfiger, and his deputy, Mr. Stefan Schaudig, for their significant support and unwavering assistance to Prince Nodar Bagrationi, his wife Princess Mila Hubina-Bagrationi, and their daughter Princess Elisabeth Bagrationi. Their commitment to fostering a positive relationship with the Bagrationi family has been invaluable.
In a symbolic gesture, Princes Mamuka and Nodar Bagrationi made a thoughtful entry in the special guests’ book, where they expressed their commitment to strengthening Georgia-Germany relations, with particular emphasis on expanding cultural and educational collaboration between the two nations.
On behalf of the Georgian Royal Dynastic “Mamuka Bagrationi Foundation,” the hosts were presented with special books. These books not only provide a concise history of the oldest royal dynasty in Europe but also offer an in-depth look at the foundation’s mission, activities, and its ongoing efforts to promote cultural heritage, education, and international cooperation.
The official website of the Planegg City Hall published a detailed account of the visit, under the title “Royal Visit,” highlighting the significance of this diplomatic and cultural exchange.
